Musical Director - Alison Daniels

Born in Zambia and raised in the North of England, Alison held a music scholarship at Uppingham School before studying music at Pembroke College Cambridge, and voice at the Royal Northern College of Music, where she was awarded the Frances Furness Scholarship. She then began her career in Manchester, where she worked with the Halle Orchestra, the Goldberg Ensemble and the Manchester Camerata, in addition to being one of the BBC Daily Service's ensemble of professional singers.

Now based in Cambridge, Alison works as a singer, vocal coach, and choir director. She continues to perform as a consort singer in London churches, and in the Cambridge group, The Cantabrigians, as well as performing in oratorio and recitals nationally.

More recently Alison has studied conducting with Paul Spicer and Adrian Lucas as a scholar at English Choral Experience Summer School in Dore Abbey. She now conducts both St Ives Choral Society and the Meridian Singers, and is in demand as a vocal coach for choirs and individuals.

Alison is passionate about facilitating excellent quality music-making experiences for musicians of all ages and calibres

Accompanist - Olga Elbourn

Olga graduated with highest honours from the State Conservatoire in St.Petersburg, Russia as a concert pianist, piano teacher, accompanist and chamber ensemble player in 2004. She completed a post Graduate course at the St.Petersburg Conservatoire in 2006 as an Accompanist.

After completing her studies Olga worked at the St.Petersburg Conservatoire as a Senior Accompanist for opera singing and instrumental classes, gaining a large amount of experience working with some of the most well-known Russian opera singers and instrumental players.

Olga has coached many students for participating in international competitions, concert tours, performances and exams. Many of these performers are now singing at the best opera theatres around the world. Olga moved to England in 2014 and lives in Waterbeach. Her work now includes intensive teaching, accompanying and performing
